    Black trim, running bar, luggage cross pieces
    New to board. My third 4 runner. First was a premium 4x4, second was SR5, this new 2024 isSR5 with black out trim. It does not have navigation installed as did the others. Do I have to subscribe to get that feature?

    In the past navigation for SR5 is an option and I think standard for SR5 premium. They had no option to have navigation as far as I've heard. I wonder if it's the same for newer head units 2024 has.

    If that's the case why not have a good Garmin navigation unit in the center with a ball mount. With Garmin you get free map updates vs Toyota navigation has $80/year subscription for updates.

    Welcome. The base sr5 (according to toyota.com) will not come with navi. I can only assume they expect you to use android or car play instead. It's a different head unit, gps antennas are built in.

    The antennas are not built in. The navigation module is a separate unit below the main radio and can work by tucking a simple gps antenna behind the unit with a smb female connector.
