Good Day! 2020 TRD I would like to clean my battery terminals. With disconnecting the battery, I know that I would lose my vehicle settings. Has anyone used those 9V OBD2 MEMORY SAVERS available on AMAZON? If so, which one?

    Thank you.

Your trip A and trip B settings will zero out. The AV settings will remain as is.

For a 2020 you don't really need to disconnect the cables. Pour some baking soda on the posts as-is, brush if needed, and hose it down with a garden hose.

You will also lose your fuel trim values so your vehicle may idle different for a few minutes or run rough for a bit. It will relearn quickly.

Hey, Glenn. Do you think it would also cause an unusual change in RPM while driving and/or shift point change?

I disconnected my battery for a couple hours after around 1500 miles. I didn't notice any difference in how it shifted or accelerated during re-training. I drive pretty laid back, so no hard starts and stops, but plenty of short steep hills.

I don't think so. It only takes 5 or 10 minutes to relearn the trims if it did.
