I ordered a new tank for a 1994 4Runner from rock auto and it's missing a hole for part of the evap system, should I be concerned about this?[IMG]

One-at-this-price stripper. Bought new 34 yrs ago, a $13K leftover. Added Detroit TruTrac, 1”rear spring spacer and “pinstripes”… Factory AC kit and roof rack bought at dealer cost at time of purchase, still blows ice cold 32yrs later. 2022 AG ORP all stock.
It looks like a completely different tank.

everything I read online says it fits a 2nd generation 4runner, so I am very confused as to why there would be no bad reviews saying that it wont fit, is it possible that the other people that bought this tank deleted the evap system?

on second thought how is the fuel tank supposed to breathe without the evap system? this new tank makes no sense.

Don’t worry about it, just leave it be!

Maybe in five years a 2nd gen fuel tank expert will pop in and explain the 27 different tanks in the 2nd gen. (kidding!)
