How much are real used TRD Pro wheels worth?

I just paid $756 for four of these the other day. When I had time to look more I found one dealer in Indiana I could have gotten them for $725.

ETA: I cant find said dealer again with that price. Either the discounts changed or I just am not clicking the right ones.

Probably $600-$900 depending on the condition. If you are going to run 285s I would recommend some aftermarket ones that look the same as they are typically 17x8.

I bought our wheels through BAM for peanuts last year I guess prices went up. I spent way more on the center caps than I'd like to admit because of the shortages, so $750 sounds like a good starting point IMO, probably what I'll post ours up for when the time comes in a few years when we need new tires

 

I Put them up as a feeler this past weekend for $650 with just the wheels, locks & lugs and received over 30 people in the span of 8 hours ready to buy,I think $750 will be the list price because I know ill get those Lowballers guys. I had no idea that many people wanted these, more puss to sell them so my runner looks different

 

Dealt with quite a lot of low ballers when I threw up the brand spanking new SEMA wheels and factory tires that came with the truck when we bought it. Tires had literally 700 miles and you wouldn't believe some of the offers I was getting and the amount of people butthurt when I declined them. Listing $750 and taking $650 is what I'd plan on for too

I don't get the issue with running 285s on 17x7s? Can someone clue me in?

The 7" wide wheels are too narrow for that tire size (according to most tire manufacturers)
In reality people run 285/70/17 on 7" wide wheels all the time and I've never seen this cause issues personally.

 

Ok I do see that most tire companies recommend 7.5"+ on 285s.

Back in my jeep days I'd always ran 7.5" or 8" wide wheels on 35x12.5 tires. Which would make it tight on the bead. So I could air down as low as my buddies with beadlocks. I guess it worked because I never popped a bead.

 

That's not the first time I've head of that. I may try to stick with 8" or 8.5" when I move to 34s.
