    4 inch lift kit
I am restoring Bear, my 1989 4runner. Have a 4 inch lift kit. As you guys know, not a lot of HP in the 22RE motor so don't want to overdue it with the tires. I do, however, want the space around the tires to look fuller. What size tires do you guys recommend? I was thinking about a 285/75R/16 but then someone said 17s. Any ideas? Had 12.50s on it at one time but that was too big. Thanks

The space around your tires is to allow the suspension to flex and the wheels to turn.

285 75 16 pretty much only come in e rated tires. 285 70 17(same size but 17s) come in sl, c and e rated tires.

33x10.50 on a 15" wheel would be perfect.
