What's up everyone, I'm Nick! Based out of the Hudson Valley in upstate NY so unfortunately don't get off road much. Winters I do a lot of time up in VT so she gets some real use for those few months at least.

Coming from a 2007 Land Rover LR3, I picked up the 4runner in May of last year at 48k miles. Flew down to Oklahoma and drove it back, made a trip out of it. Truck is a 2020 TRD Off Road Premium Non-KDSS in Classic Metallic Silver.

Been loving the thing, plenty I miss about the LR but I've had more fun overall driving the 4runner. Also very nice to be back under that toyota reliability.

Truck now has 62k miles and it came with the wheels, ladder, rack and tint. I did all the 60k maintenence items plus some extras a month ago; tranny filter/oil, diffs/transfer case oil, greased u-joints, sparkplugs, cleaned throttle body and MAF, engine oil and tire rotation.

    Stuff I've done so far:
    - Removed nfab nerf steps.
    - Krown undercoated in October.
    - Four cam vent solution: addresses the insanely dusty interior problem. They work, cuts down interior dust and dirt by a lot.
    - J&L oil seperator
    - S&B intake
    - Seat jackers
    - LED interiors
    - Black interior door handles
    - Driver/Passenger center console Molle pannels
    - Black shift knobs
    - Headlights: xeon lows, LED highs
    - Fogs: Baja Squadron
    - Tails: Alphrex Pro Series Red Smoke
    - Black LED side mirror signals
    - Tried a pro grille but switched back to the non pro version and blacked out the grille slats.
    - CaliRaised full rear Molle system
    - DRT LCA skids
    - Waiting on a CBI front skid and eventually getting OEM rock rails. Probably not until after I upgrade the suspension.

Goals! Suspension will get upgraded to coilovers sometime around 100k miles or when she needs it (still feels great on stock). I'm not interested in going bigger tires and a 1" ish lift is all I'd do at most, and will be leaving the rake (I load the cargo space and roof down pretty heavy a few times a year). Rear ARB diff/locker breather. Full chrome delete which I really only have the headlights left to take care of. I want to change the rim lip bolts on the ProComps to black but that's a whole thing. I'm sure I'll think of some more small items, but that's all the big ones I'm planning.

Excited to be part of the Toyota family again!

Thanks everyone, appreciate it! I post 4runner and adventure stuff with the wife and dog to my IG stories here and there @ndh_cinema

Already learned a lot from the forum, looking forward to contributing! I have a headlight bulb option write up for 5th gen halogen projectors I want to post. I've been figuring out the best bulb combo for usability without the LED glare on the low beams, think I've found the best option.

Thanks! She'll be in most photos :)

Nice, you'll dig it. The system I had in my LR didn't mount securely enough to be used for much. This one I can load down the shelf, fill up the roto, strap more to the panels and it won't flex or rattle.

    Hey Nick! Welcome from RI.

Sounds like you have a great plan, you're off to a solid start. I really like your hatch organization, and the pupper is cute as well.

Do you get to VT in the summer and fall? Lots to explore there with the class 4's once they dry out and reopen. I'm looking forward to spending a lot of time up there this summer myself.

Hey, thanks! Haven't gotten up to VT much in the other season but hoping to take a camping trip or two this summer and hit some trails. Where in VT are you planning?

Appreciate it! Hatch build out has been very convenient, use it almost daily.

Envious you get to drive around Hudson Valley and up to Vermont for the snow! I was in NYC for about 11 years. Hope to make it back up there in the new 4R
