fuck you for having it be easy. Where did you tap the backup light? i tried in the dash but didnt work, had to go to ECU above parking brake. It was just such a pain. getting the wire through, routing it under the back window, my ECU reset in the rear and nothing worked and i was locked inside the truck, the camera itself was being annoying and not working.

i got it all done, but i cant get the HU to display the backup cam unless im in reverse. waiting on OEM brackets to finish install. guess i may have to use that rear camera switch to trigger the backup cam?

also yeah the wire was too short. should have seen that coming. How did you route yours? def not installer error... I think it was 16 feet, my CB was 18 ft and had a longer run and just barely made it

I want it to come on when in reverse and have a way to turn it on through the head unit in case i wanna see behind me when im driving. worst case, i will add a switch that just supplied power to the rcam wire, but i'd save myself the headache if I can if theres a way to display it through the head unit. also this thing is boss. how did i ever live without so much integration.
