Fox has their new 2.5 Performance Elite Series shocks now available for the 03-24 4Runners. If you are not familiar with the difference between those and the Factory Race Series, here is a great article that compares the two. We should be getting our first shipment before the end of the year, so if its something you've been holding out for keep us in mind!

Reminder: All the shocks we sell will be custom valved specific to your 4Runner model and total weight FREE of charge. We will also work with you on spring rates and proper shock setup.

Its about $4k for the front and rear complete set. Fox has 2 rear lift height versions, so if you get the longer of the two, we suggest KDSS drop brackets. Front should play just fine with KDSS.

    More kits and pricing here

Just looked at the website regarding these shocks. Are they set at 2" lift out the box for front coil like fox 2.0? I'm currently running fox 2.0 front and rear w/ B12 400lbs springs looking for an upgrade. Thanks

There are two front coilover options, one is rated for 2" lift, the other is 2-3". This is just a lift range, I am not sure what lift height they will provide out of the box since that is dependent on each vehicles specific weight. Example, 2wd vs 4wd will have different weights that affect lift height. For most cases, we recommend the installer make adjustments after they are installed. When we do installs, we are always making fine tune adjustments. We set ride height based on shock lengths at ride height to get the best overall performance. A lot of specifics about that can be found here: https://accutuneoffroad.com/preload-adjustments-on-oem-fit-coilovers/

I have a set of these coilovers on my 14 SR5 4Runner and the reservoirs contact the inner fender with the revised mounts from Fox. I have moved the reservoir down as much as possible and the clamps now contact the fenders. I massaged the inner fender as much as I dare. Is there any other mounting solution for these?

From driver and passenger side pictures aren’t great due to the angle. This is after moving the reservoirs down on the mounting bracket and trying to clearance the fender some. I have the reservoir clamps in the required position. I could move the clamp down but it’s probably not going to retain the reservoir as well. Prior to moving the reservoir down it had been higher up and shows wear from rubbing on the fender

So additional question with these shocks. Both reservoir lines are rubbing on the Total Chaos control arms. The drivers side seems to be worse than the passenger currently. Any solution to stop this aside from trying to move them back up? I could try to roll the reservoir on the mount but I’m doubting that it will move enough to make a difference since the mounts are not great. I’m curious if the original reservoir mounts these came with are any better since I’m not running a front sway bar any more. These are out of the box installed without changing any factory settings. They have been on the truck for roughly 3 weeks to an month and have 300-400 miles tops on them.

Let’s see some smaller pics of how it’s mounted. Kinda hard to help with the close up pics

They’re mounted per the instructions that Fox sends with the shocks on the updated reservoir mounts. Aside from moving the reservoirs down on the mounts so they aren’t rubbing on the inner fender they are installed correctly.

    **UPDATE**

Several Customers with KDSS noticed an interference issue fitting the Fox reservoir mount that comes with the Fox Performance Elite Series coilovers. This issue is with the passenger side windshield washer fluid tank not allowing the Fox reservoir bracket to be properly mounted. Customer satisfaction is extremely important to us, so we designed a new reservoir mount to specifically address this issue. This design will allow for hassle free installation of the reservoir and alleviate any clearance or interference issues. With the slight angle change to the reservoir, the hose and fittings stay the same, so no need to adjust fittings or lose the gas charge in your shock. Here's a couple of "Before" and "After" Photos to visually explain the difference.

We'd like to clarify that AccuTune Offroad, as a reseller of Fox products, cannot be held responsible for issues stemming from the Fox supplied brackets. Therefore, we cannot accept full liability for problems arising from installation or usage of their brackets. We are committed to assisting our customers who encounter difficulties by providing solutions to resolve any issues they may face. This is why we spent time and resources to produce a solution for our customers.

**If you recently purchased these coilovers from us, you will get an email shortly**

Total chaos upper control arms. The shocks were set at 3 inches of lift from the factory according to Fox. They’ve been lowered to roughly 2.5 inches of lift now. The issue is with the brackets
