Just wanted to check and see how others are with heated seats in your 4R. I have a 2010 with heated seats and they heat up really nice and have to turn them down after a while then they are on. I am now have a 2023 Limited with heated seats and they hardly get warm to the touch. Both drivers and passengers sides do not get very warm, always set to max. Does this seems like an issue or is that pretty much the normal for others?

Depends on whose butt thermometer you ask.

In all seriousness though, mine are definitely more than warm to the touch. I leave mine on high all the time because I'm constantly cold (even with the heat on). My husband on the other hand has to turn it down after initial warm up. For what it's worth, this is from a 2023 TRD Pro.

My butt thermometer cannot handle full power heat with my cheap Wrangler jeans.

Can you measure off and max on for a while with a infrared thermometer to see what the difference is? My 2011 gets hot after a few min or so. I can't leave them on max unless it's near 0F outside. Even then I turn them down to medium after 10m or so.

I didn't notice any difference between my old 2010 heated seats and new 2022 heated seats

I leave mine on max from Nov 1 – April 1.

Helps keep my lower back from tightening up on longer drives as well.

My 2016 Limited, 2020 Pro, and 2023 Pro all heated and felt the same.

Starts out "hot" but as time goes on, and my butt heats up, it's not so hot. Likely due to absorbing the heat from the seat and the heat cycling if left on.

I have a 22 Limited 4WD (my wife's) and a 21 Venture (mine). The seats in the Limited are heated AND ventilated. The seats in the Venture are heated only.

There IS a difference in how hot the seats get in the Venture vs. the Limited. The Venture seats will fry an egg (or your rear end!) but the Limited seats don't get that hot.

That said... the Limited seats are plenty hot to do their job and get you toasty when it's crazy cold out (like it is right now...). Neither are hot to the touch until you've sat in them a few minutes.

It seems like they start out warm and then back off.

I love heated seats. In a lot of conditions, I leave the cabin cool and just turn on the seat and steering wheel heat.

I'm having a similar issue, brought it in they checked it said they had to order a new seat. Left the dealership and it seemed to work fine until I went to use again, now barely gets warm as previous problem. Both driver and passenger seats.

I'm with the others. Mine are just so so and heat nicely. But always on high, can't feel a Damn thing on low or medium levels.

If I don’t turn the heater on, mine get hot enough to keep me warm without being too hot. If I also turn the heater on then they’ll get too hot for me so I’ll turn them down to the lowest setting.

The ones in my 4R seem pretty weak even at full blast. I can only compare them to my model 3 though which heats up like a furnace.

Mine are OK, although like most vehicles they seem to back off for a long time after they get up to temperature.

heated seat more "attractive" for female anatomy and dress in winter, but for man, anatomically, it is different: our balls and prostate do not happy with heat, keep them cool for health.

Women aren't the only ones who appreciate heated seats. Living in Northern Michigan the heated seats and steering wheel are very welcome on cold winter days.

To the OP, I don't know if the heating circuit is any different between models or not. I also have a 23 and after several minutes in the seat on a cold day I have to turn down or turn off the seat heater otherwise it gets too hot.
