MTM lights

I have a '24 ORP with MTM and the lights on the underside of the side mirrors
don't seem to work. When should they come on?

 

Are you looking at the cameras or the puddle lights? The puddle lights come up when you unlock the vehicle with the fob and from the inside but it's weird when it was decided when the come on.

 

That perplexed me for a while. They come on if you approach a locked vehicle while carrying the fob. If the vehicle isn't locked, they won't come on. They will also come on when unlocking by pressing the button on the fob.

 

If the vehicle is locked, the lights will come on as you approach the vehicle and/or reach for the door handle. After you get in and start the truck, they go away.

 

My bad, I thought those lights had something to do with the MTM system. I haven't driven it much at night
and only parked in lighted lots, so wouldn't have noticed them. I just went out to the garage and tried it and
yes they work, although pretty weak. Thanks for the info!

 

Well, they are right next to the MTM cameras, so that's understandable.
