Hey Folks...

Hey Folks, I've been buying new 4Runners every year since 2019 wanting to get the last year before the upgrade! Well, I stopped with a 2022. Just too crazy, with the way prices are headed. I remember when I could buy a new 4Runner Off Road Premium at a nice discount for 35000, drive it for a year and take it to Carmax and sell it for 35000 or more. Okay sorry, too much rambling. So I was thinking about doing it again but just saw my neighbors new Sequoia Platinum and thinking that the new 4Runner will probably look exactly like it but smaller and that thing looks awesome. And the new engine will be just fine I'm sure. It's a Toyota like we all love after all! That's how the 4Runner/Sequoia were years ago... the Sequoia seemed to look exactly alike but just bigger, then they started making the Sequoia look bigger and softer. So really, enough rambling... I will be here learning about some expeditioning and some DIY repairs, accessories, etc. My wife called the dealer just this morning for an oil change and they wanted $400. I usually don't care anything at all about her cars so I let her handle getting all the oil changes etc. done. But on the cars I care about I DIY. I wish they would go back to the spin off filter sitting right on top! I actually remember when the 4Runner had a removable top... yes it really did. I didn't get one until 2012 though I think is was... Trail Edition I think it was called. Had a much different roof rack that I sort of liked. Not sure why the got rid of it. Let's see, one thing I will recommend to everybody is the Canvasback products for cargo area protection. I love 'em. Okay that's really it!
