    Hey everyone,

    Long time lurker, finally deciding to join the party.

    A bit about me: Maryland native, currently residing north of Baltimore. Originally from a DC suburb. 15 year member of the National Ski Patrol and avid outdoorsman. In my dayjob I work in sales for an IT consulting/staffing firm.

    Currently driving a 2015 4Runner SR5 Premium 4x4 in Barcelona Red. Bone stock, although it's proved wholly capable for everything I have thrown at it. I don't "wheel" but my 4runner sees occasional light off road use. Just recently drove it to Glacier Montana and back, backpacking ~40 miles in 5 days deep into the Glacier backcountry.

    Current mileage, 143K.

    I may make a separate thread, but am currently dealing with a fully blown out steering rack, which is unfortunately my second one from Toyota. First was replaced under my extended warranty at 80K after having a seeping boot, but this second one has totally failed. Currently have a claim with Toyota to seek reimbursement for this repair, as there is ZERO reason that I should be on my second rack with how I drive and maintain this thing. Rack being replaced had 60K miles on it when it failed. Any threads that you can point me to that discuss this is appreciated!4runner.jpg 4Runner snow.jpg
