Just ordered the Ebach Pro Tru Stage 2 lift for my 2019 sr5. I was wondering if anyone is running this lift and what UCA’s you’re running with it? Mine will mostly be a daily driver with monthly camping trips and hunting trips on moderate dirt roads so I don’t need anything too crazy

I don't have that lift but, how many inches of lift does it provide?

I’m going with either 2.5 or 3 inches

I was looking at those along with the Dirt King’s. My only hold is the Dirt King’s website heavily emphasized OEM-sized coilovers and I now I can’t seem to find the size specs on the one I ordered. My only hold up on the JBA’s is if the ball joint needs replaced, you have to order direct from them because of it design

I have that lift with the only difference being is I have the 2R which adds rear reservoirs.

I went with the Dobinson's UCA's with 3 degrees of castor correction built in. They are very easy for any alignment shop to get dialed in and use fully sealed, replaceable Japanese-made Sankei 555 ball joints.

I have the eibach stage 1 lift that i put on the second clip so its about 3.2 lift in front and the rear i added a 1/2 spacer so its 1.5 in rear. I have the SPC UCA and was able to get 3.6 degrees caster and after about 5k miles on it i have no complaints.

Dobinson billet (not the ones Rob41 runs) if you want adjustability to reduce the amount of cutting for fitting larger tires. They are expensive though.

Otherwise a toss-up between Bilstein or Dirt King:

I got mine directly from Dobinsons and these UCA's are perfectly suited for what you intend, as well as serious off roading.

I thought I remember reading somewhere around here that those ball joints can be found at auto parts stores. I think they are the same ones that come on older Chevy trucks or something.

I have JBA's, but they do lead to some rubbing due to the rearward tilt of the wheel assembly. Greasing them is also kind of a pain because the long bolts have to be loosened a bit to allow the grease to get to all of the bushing surfaces. They do add back the lost caster after lifting though, and 4 degrees caster makes for a very stable highway ride.

The typical role of thumb is if you go higher than 2”, you will most likely need aftermarket UCAs. You can’t go wrong with any of the main stream brands. I’ve had SPCs for nearly 4 years and just switched to TCs. No issues, just got the TCs for a deal

    Hey OP @TBob89
Very nice choice for your lift.
I'm in the same category, 4R is my wife and kids daily but we take it out sometimes. I have a 3/2 lift, classic Bilstein 5100's w/ lift springs.
For your kind of usage, and 2.5-3" lift, SPC UCA's are a decent option. Won't cost you an arm and a leg, highly adjustable, and the new bushings and new and improved sealed balljoints I think are great (I've had SPC for 3 yrs)

One note about the Dirt Kings, I have 20k miles on mine and the bushings are already shot. And yes, I did loosen, grease, and torque them down every 5000 miles. Now I get to rebuild them. What a pain in the ass.

I went with the Ironman Pro-forge, only because they use toyota ball joints. Zero maintenance, and they got me my 4 degrees positive caster for my 285's with a -12 offset.

    Nice, good call.

Do you know if they achieved 4⁰ with UCA alone, or is LCA adjustments involved as well? I've heard in a thread I started about this that I need my LCA castor adjusted to get from 3.4⁰-3.7⁰ up to 4⁰?
    Thx
