I have a brand new TRD OFP that I’ve been changing the lighting on. I recently replaces the high beams with LED’s and DLR module, rear turn to LED, backup to LED. Now this afternoon, I’m getting the ABS, Slip Indicator Light and the Multi-Terrain Select Indicator Light which is blinking. From what I have read, this could be do to RF interference from the LED module/ballast. Or possibly a wheel sensor. I did put back the OEM bulbs, but I am still getting the lights. Do I have to go to the dealer to lights reset?
Man it sucks when you introduce your own problems.

This happened to me, before i changed all my lights and it was a ABS wheel sensor and a Transfer case sensor. Good news if it is the sensors it is cover with warrenty and the dealer wont blame any mods. Now for what you did I dont see how that can cause your lights, did you possibly take your truck offroad today?

No wheeling yet. Could the sensor go bad that quickly?
I have washed the truck a few times, could water get in the connector or something.

very well could be, those sensors are very sensitive and it does not take much, but i dont think they could get water by simply washing your truck unless you are going underneath and doing an under body wash. I know this has been a becomeing more of a problem for the 4runner. When i had mine fixed the tech did something to help prevent this from happening again. Also if you have a code reader, let it read, if it is a sensor your 4runner will spit out a code.

Well after getting really frustrated, I decided to go get pizza and some beer and think things over. Well 2 minutes into my drive all the warning lights go out. The only thing I did was put back the OEM high beam bulbs. Here is a link to the bulbs I got, there is a DRL module you need to get so that the LED’s don’t flicker. So that must be causing the issue, I just installed the LED’s without the module, so I will see if it’s happens again.

That link is for the fogs, but as for high beam leds from xeon depot, i run those on my truck with no problems, i also have hid lo beams and the Auer 2 in 1 led drl fog lamp. But i had the problem before i upgraded my lights. I honestly don’t think it is your lights. My sensors went out around 6k miles on the truck. Really anything can cause it to go bad, i did some more looking and saw the worksheet and who fixed mine he made the wire to the sensors longer and added something around the sensor to better protect them. Anything can really mess them up: snow, water, sand, mud, and even getting snaged or streched.

That’s all they have at xenon depot. They had another kit, but it’s been discontinued. I went to reinstall the modules and noticed one of the LED’s had burned out. Maybe that triggered something.
