Anyone drinking tonight... or, today??

I added a bottle of G4 to the collection. Thanks, everyone for the guidance here! This was another recommendation from @Agent_Outside . I really like it! It seems to have a slight peppery taste, which I really enjoy.



Next weekend I have a friend coming to visit who always has really good stuff when I go to his place. It will be nice to have a good selection to share with him for a change. As it turns out, City Spirits in Oconomowoc is having a tasting that Saturday, so that should be pretty fun, as well!

 

Prefer mezcal straight but we had a small belated b'day party last night and I made salmon chowder. Just seemed like an Irish whiskey night, so I drank Tullamore Dew (I usually prefer Jameson's) on the rocks. Temp was -4 at the time!

 

old town, sip tequila, and caskers seem to be reputable. I haven’t personally used any of them though.

Aside from the name Okanagan Lake is a super popular destination for locals, and many have moved there.

Absolutely! I don't drink a lot of soda. But, once in awhile, a Coke or Pepsi on ice is a tasty treat!

 

I've tried to quit soda, but its hard, I'm weak lol

 

At first taste I thought it might be a little to citrusy for my taste, but by the time I finished the glass I really like it. To be honest i am very happy with all three of these, but the Fortaleza was a bit over priced for a Blanco at $80.00, the Pasote is very good at $45.00

 

Been in Wenatchee for over 20 years and was a Wildlife Biologist in the North Central Washington Office of US Fish and Wildlife. Ever dig fossils in republic?

 

Tequila is for mixing or for people who can't handle mezcal!

 

I do a little Mezcal now and then, if your mixing your Tequila your missing out on the tequila flavor.

 

If you have some pour through coffee filter to be safe.

 

What's the difference? They are all agave spirits. I'd try some mezcal if I knew anything about it.

Gold seems to lack the smokiness of mezcal (and the worm!). White/Silver tastes much like vodka to me!

Curiosity got the best of me, so I grabbed something that looked decent and was labeled as "additive free", Gonzalez 1939.. Hopefully it's good.

 

After the week of cold and snow in east TN thinking this is what I'm going with tonight.
