    The guy I quoted in the post appears to say that the temps for the transmission and the torque converter will show and in the OBD app you can purchase for $15 the add-on package which is what he said he did. You're telling me that information is wrong? I understand what you're saying what scan gauge would you recommend? Never mind I just realized that was a link to it in your post. Thank you very much

    OBD Fusion should read both transmission pan and converter temps with a $15 add-on Toyota Pack. It is a one time fee. I am using the 1996-2021 Toyota/Lexus/Scion pack (I had multiple year Toyotas at one time this is why I have this pack and it was cheaper when I got it), which provides both temps. And this pack does provide oil temp, at least per the PID description. But no oil pressure. I would assume the appropriate $15 pack would do the same.

    Sorry, I should have specified engine oil.

    My only experience with the app based readouts and tranny temp was wasting money on Dash Command when it didn't support my 19 Runner.
