It sure looks like they are supposed to but mine do not.

It is hard to see them in the dark and I find myself turning the dim ass interior lights on trying to see better.

Same with the dang door lock/unlock! I can never find it. LOL.

    Oooh look, another mod.....
They both light up. The 4whl knob & window switches can be difficult to see, because it's only an amber/yellow-ish light, and it only comes from one location (there's a small dot on the window buttons). The lock/unlock button does not light up, because there's no cut out for a light to pass through it.

Why do you need to hit the door unlock/lock button? The truck auto unlocks when you open the door and auto locks when you put it into drive.

The door “lock” button is lit, but not the unlock button.

For SR5 and Limited, there is a tiny spot light in the overhead console that shines down on the 4wd knob.

None of the lights mentioned here are lighting up on mine. Is this a group with a fuse?

I need to unlock/lock because when it is butt ass cold out here I go out and start the truck, lock the doors, manually unlock the drivers door, get out and use the metal key to lock the drivers door.....to let it warm up while locked.

No spotlight on my 4wd know.....can't see it at all in the dark.

I think I am missing some lights or this is a group and I have a issue??

Check your dash dimmer switch (little wheel left of the steering wheel).

You can pull the fuse lid and see if one sounds suspect as well, based on the labels (they are easy enough to check, too).

Not what you asked, but you know letting the car idle to warm up is the worst approach. Better to get in and start driving (slowly) right away.

At idle, it dumps a bunch of fuel due to running rich, and takes forever to come up to temp with no load.

That's a good point Borracho Loco. As a matter of fact when people register here for the first time they should put that on their profile and their location and no not your whole address lol. We are not creepers. Bye the way I have to check my profile again to make sure that I put that information in.

My 2011 Limited 4WD knob is NOT lit, nor designed to.

I'll check them when she gets home!

As far as warming up cars I am too old to change now! I have been walking out to nice warm vehicles (in the Winter) after running them for 10 to 15 minutes since I was a kid going skiing in 1986 in a Ford Escort!

The fastest vehicle to get warm was my many inline 6 4.0 Jeeps. Those things get warm so fast man! Like 5 minutes!

I wish there was a way to light up the top of the 4WD shifter knob on the ORP.
