Had to go to the store for a few things and the Falken Wildpeak AT3W's never skipped a beat. I swear by these tires more than any others I've had.

Just a few days ago this is the stretch of road where I posted a couple 0-60/0-90ish runs to show what the Magnuson sounds like. Conditions change fast here :yay: Here's a video of a drive with the current winter conditions:

Looks a little different than when I was up there a couple of summers ago! Are you running E-load or SL?

I'm running the SL. I wanted to save on the weight and thought they may be a bit more compliant.

I picked them as well based on all the great reviews I read right here. I can’t argue. They seem to do everything well. I currently have about 15,000 on them and I still like them.

The AT3W's do a lot of things very well and winter driving is definitely one of their strong points.

I had 275/65/18s on my 2017 Taco Limited. They were fantastic and will get the same on the 4Runner, but can't justify replacing the shoes currently on foot as they aren't done yet

Do you feel much difference in on road handling with 18's vs 17's?

Just got back in the house from a quick drive back on the property. I love it when we get this kind of snow. You can see where the deer trudged through the snow on either side.

Well completely different beast between Taco vs 4R. I so like having more rubber under me.

I do go off roading quite a bit so I went with the 17's but the 18's would likely handle better on road with less sidewall.

I've been running them on my tundra for years now.... excellent in the snow. We get plenty here in da' UP.:pout:

Just put a set on our new 4Runner.

I was a yooper for years in the Soo and in Newberry. I might be a troll now but barely under the bridge ;)

Ouch, lol. I've always considered anything above Gaylord, Northern Mi. and everything North of the bridge the frozen tundra ;)

    This is excellent!

I saw a FB reels video where a Wrangler Rubicon with KO2s lost all grip in that type of snow and almost crashed into another truck. Looks like the Wildpeaks are the undisputed kings of snow driving.

    None. Yet!
Thanks for the input on treads. Got 4Runner a week ago(just before our big snow) it was a lease trade in. Highway tires don’t cut it up here.
