Good morning all. I have a 2018 Limited and was curious about the installation and fit of upgrading to an aftermarket LED fog lamp. I was thinking either the diode dynamic SS3 pro or Baja design Squadron SAE fog lamps (amber). I’m open to any other suggestions on brand but looking for a decent quality setup. I see many installations on an sr5,ORP and TRD pros but not finding much information about them being installed on a limited. This makes me think that installation and fit may be different on the limited. I will reach out to the manufacturer eventually but curious if anyone here knows what’s involved with installation on a limited and do they fit properly on the limited as they do on SR5/ORP/TRD. Thanks all in advance for your feedback and advice.

Own two Limiteds. If the fog lights have a bracket for the 4R, they’ll fit the Limited as well. Skip the BD and go for DD. I’ve got Pros on one (installed when they were the best) and Maxs on the other

Not only do they have great pricing, but they have the best customer service on the planet. I had the DD Pros from them and upgraded to the Max. Even the Sport and Elite SS3's are a decent upgrade from stock, but the Pro and Max are awesome!

I see you have a 2017 Limited which is identical to my 18. You do the install yourself? If so any information you can provide would be appreciated if it’s more than removing a couple of screws on the fender liner. I was leaning diode dynamics as well but open to suggestions. Thanks again for your reply.

There’s a square of plastic covering one of them that will make it very hard to do with the bumper cover on. But yeah, it’s just 3 fender liner screws and a few on each fog light

I was thinking of changing the driving lights on my '23 Limited to yellow fogs. Found out you have to replace the entire light assembly, not just the bulbs. For what some of these aftermarket fog light assemblies cost, I decided to get a Pedal Commander instead. I'll get a LOT more use out of that than yellow fog lights, that's for sure...

My 18 doesn’t have LED housings as they aren’t LED so i was planning on replacing the entire unit rather than just a bulb. I’d like to keep the vehicle as near to oem stock as possible. I’ve customized cars and bikes throughout my life and eventually gremlins show up. I’m too busy to chase them anymore.
