2023 Limited fog light replacement

Can someone confirm that you can't just replace the white fog light / driving light bulb, you have to replace the whole housing? I bought some yellow LED bulbs, and low and behold, it doesn't look like you can replace just the bulbs. Am I missing something?

 

That is correct. You can not insert aftermarket bulbs if you have OEM led fogs.

 

If you want yellow fogs, look into Diode Dynamics plug and play options for the 4runner. They’re all fantastic. But ask questions because they’re all slightly different - and have different pros and cons.

Complete non serviceable unit, You know for serviceability.... Should be replaceable in regards to swapping out a bulb.

 

Yup, that's the first strike against this 4R...ridiculous to have to replace the entire fog light assembly, instead of just the bulb...and I'm not spending $250+ for a new set of yellow fog lights...so I opted for the Lamin-x yellow covers instead...

 

Can you use the Diode Dynamics elite fogs on a Trd orp with Oem led fogs? On their website the comments for the elite and ss3 say they don’t work

I did lamin-x on my ditch lights recently. Look decent. The price is right, wish it was deeper quality yellow.
