Educate me about Dr. KDSS components

So I see they have some drop spacers too on their website. Do they help in getting some more articulation than what stock KDSS allows?

 

I think those spacers are to offset a natural lean that kdss 4Runners have right from factory. The Runner leans a little bit to one side not just because of heavier parts on driver side like gas tank, but also it's because of the difference from there being one rigid solid passenger link and one hydraulic piston drivers link attached to the sway bar.

Kdss trucks tend not to have any lean. The spacers are for larger lifts. It’s the equivelant of going for longer drop links on a standard swaybar. Under 2” you shouldn’t need to do anything with your kdss.

I'm not the best at explaining the issue but yes many of the dr KDSS products are for correcting angles after 2"+ lifts.

Since I am 2" BP-51, I will ignore those drop spacers and get the basic stuff. Thanks guy.

 

The very slight lean that I had is gone now after 3000 miles of driving to Death Valley and back. It looks like the lean was because parking on an uneven spot

I had BP51s previously and I also have the track bar relocate, kdss spacers, front sway bar attachment brackets, and the kdss kill switch. HIGHLY recommended. It's a noticeable improvement in day to day driving.

Still have all of that, just on Elkas now instead of the OME setup.
