    That is 100% me and I average 13 as well. I did not buy a 5,000lb brick for the fuel economy :D

    Believe it or not, the truck did that at 38 PSI and with a-trac only

    He’s not on the edge of extreme. I’d say he’s comfortably within it lol.

    A transmission cooler might not be a bad idea, at least monitoring transmission temps is a good idea.

    18 psi or 15 would have made a ton of difference, it would have made look easy. It is an amazing truck, the best jack of all trades.

    I’ve got an app called car scanner that lets me read live parameters including trans temps in the pan, and post-torque converter. Costs a few bucks and you have to buy an OBD bluetooth dongle so your phone/app pairs with it.

    My 4xinnovation skidplate system, while awesome with protection, limits airflow around the transmission. I get spikes to 200 degrees in summer, and sometimes they stay there a while if the torque converter is unlocking frequently. I’m not sure how significant that is if it can cool itself down quicly.

    I’m kind of considering a transmission cooler, but I’m not there yet since I haven’t done much research. I don’t want to just blindly throw anything in there. I remember reading about a cooler that had a thermostat bypass that would keep trans fluid from circulating in the cooler until it was warm. I kind of like that idea since our winters can be very cold. Cold transmission fluid isn’t good for the tranny either. My other concern is getting one that I can install without having to worry about it being a potential source for a catastrophic leak.
