2021 off road Safety connect question

24,500 miles the light stays on red, after start up. Hardware issue? Anything to be concerned about? If it’s hardware does dealer cover it under warranty?What can I do to get rid of light thanks

If you still have the bumper-to-bumper, probably warranty time but if your in-car microphone still works works and you don’t care about transmitting your driving data/metrics and having access to the Toyota app and SOS feature, I’m not sure if it’s worth the effort.

 

I will have to take a look at mine today. I vaguely remember seeing mine red the other day as well. I just paid for the service in order to get the USAA discount for having a car location service. (They wouldn’t accept Apple Air Tag for the discount).

Update: I just checked and mine goes solid red on the right side of the button (then goes off) and switches to solid green on the left side (which stays on) followed by a quick lil flash of the red light.
