Well the wife was tired of the Camry even though it was fully loaded but she loved the Tacoma more then the Camry. I tried to talk her into looking at a 4runner when we purchased the Camry but she wouldn't here of it.....well fast forward a ways and behold we found a nice used 2015 4runner. We did look at several of them but ended up with this one, price drove this and they gave us the best price on the Camry.

She has already ordered ( I did ) the center console tray and the black out kit for it (waiting for it to come in). I have a new set of used wheels (SCS's) for the Tacoma so the Fuels that are on the Tacoma will be transferred over to the 4runner at some point, need to level this thing out as it does have some rake to it.

Here are some pics of the new ride, slowly will change this to a decent looking 2wd cruiser.

Future plans for the cruiser, install new shocks on it and level out the ride.

Install the wheels from the Tacoma and get new set of tires for the rims.

Black out the roof rack and pull it all together.

Window tint that thing, TX heat can be a torture.

New fog lights and at least low beam lights.

    Is plasti-dip a mod?!
Nice find! Be careful of wheel swap though, runner can’t take a size below 17’s due to brake caliper clearance.

Good to know but was going to take the 20’s that came from the Tacoma, taking it back to 16’s.

Ok next simple mod is now installed, thanks to @RedRunner87 on posting this in his thread. It only took approx 15 min to install both mirrors, just tilt the mirror up and pull away from the bottom outside edge and slowly pull it loose. Once it pops loose you will find the wires connected to the mirror, may be different for some models as mine is only a base SR5 model. Unplug the connector in the inner corner of the mirror and then install the new mirror and the reverse the process for installation. This is a nice simple upgrade for the T4R, comes from a 15+ Rav4. I need to look into this more for the Tacoma as it has been done as well for them, but I have the blind spot monitors for it but don't have it turned on.

Ya the wife says she is not sure if she likes them yet, I then told her to adjust her mirrors out more.. She hasn't said anything so I
m assuming she likes them now. If not I will place them on the Tacoma.

So most of the lift is in for the T4r and now I’m trying to get a set of tires for it. I have my old fuel hostage wheels from the Tacoma that the wife refus d to let go of. Does a 285/55/20 got without rubbing?

Here is the suspension that will be getting installed.

    front coils (2885)
    OME trim packer
OME nitrocharger sport rear shocks (soft)
    rear coils (2889)
SPC uppers will be installed as part of this

Well did some updates to the runner today, got the roof rack painted and swapped out running boards, found them on FB marketplace from a guy in Austin. Time to sell the original ones..

Picking up tires today, now just got to carve out time to install the lift.

Well all of the parts are in and the new used set of tires have been picked up, now I just need to get a day to install them. I am planning on putting it all together the day before Veterans Day so I can get the alignment done the next day. Thinking about this I may need to and get the tires mounted the day before, guess we will be one vehicle down for the weekend...

So curious has anyone got a set side mirrors from a premium model and installed them on a SR5 model so that the turn signals are functional?
