I'm just happy that they've developed great sounding cabs that don't weigh a stupid amount. Andy is doing a heckuva job for them.

I have their Rosette acoustic combo as well - works nicely for my upright as well as for my acoustic. It's basically a Class D amp with a speaker cone that can handle bass and a tweeter.

Yeah, if all else is equal, I'll take the lighter cabinet. I remember when some manufacturers started using neodymium magnets, thinking that was pretty smart.

After sitting for 4-5 weeks the battery in my 23 was dead. I didn’t anticipate such a rapid drain. Thinking the drain relates to the periodic vapor system check that happens and that useless blinking red light on the dash.

Did you at least start it at all during that time?

No, not even once. It’s essentially hibernating until the roads are sodium free :) Looks like I’ll have to run a trickle charger to keep the battery at the ready.

I love Jake's! I haven't been there in awhile, though.

That's funny, because I was just talking about supper clubs on the 4Runner forum!

I might have to check out that poster. I have generally liked every supper club I've been to. But, I've only been to a dozen or so. I need to make a list of all of the ones I still want to try. The poster would be nice for keeping track.

Your post reminded me of this poster, which I recently purchased after seeing it in a local supper club, the 4 Mile. I started that cheeseburger thread but figured better here to post up about supper clubs lest we recruit more visitors from IL here to WI :)

The High Shores on Lake Wissota just N of here is good too. Like Jake’s, you could roll up to it in a boat. Good times. Spring is just around the corner, lol.

Lol! I was back and forth between here and Tacomaworld and I got confused. :D

We might have to incorporate some supper club dinners into the Wisconsin events thread.

I went there last year, unexpectedly. We were driving around in the Dells looking for a place to get dinner and decided to follow the signs and check it out. Everything was very good!

Yeah when we went, I had no clue what a supper club was. Not something very well known on the west coast. But it was a cool experience, I’ve wanted to go back. Just haven’t made my way back up there.

Ya, looks like plowing is in my future also, put in 4 hrs. last night after hauling 2 lds. of salt/sand. Roads turned to crap after the 2nd one.

Does one of you want to swing over to Jefferson County and do my driveway?
I've shoveled it 3 times this week and I'm about to go for round 4. But, I'm already tired from the 12"+ that drifted over the sidewalk and patio. Taking a break and going back out there in a minute.

Ugh, that sucks. Similar situation over here. Be careful out there though. I was stupid yesterday and tried to muscle my garbage bin to another location before even getting the snow blower out.

Well, I slipped and almost went down. I should have just let myself fall though. Instead I “heroically” kept my balance and jacked my knee pretty bad. Out for the count! Thankfully my kid shoveled everything out instead, twice.

Time for another round now. My knee is still jacked, but feeling a little better after icing it for most of the morning.

Ouch! Hope it feels better with some rest.

I haven't hurt myself yet, but my shovel had a bad day. I'm at Fleetfarm getting a replacement.

Bummer about your knee - hope that mends quickly.

How was the shovel stock at Fleet Farm? I’m tempted to try a design I saw at Menards that purportedly doesn’t jam in a concrete seam.

We had 4-6” here with some deeper drifts and it’s ~15 degrees out now dropping to -3 or so tonight. Cloudy. All set for the father- daughter dance tonight.

What was the consistency your way? We got wet snow yesterday, then later dense cold snow on top. For sure, it was shovel killer snowfall lol. I used regular dirt shovels for a lot of the deep stuff the snowblower couldn’t deal with.

Knees is doing better. I can walk, just not put any weight on it yet. I don’t think I snapped any tendons, but the thing that goes in front of the knee cap is tender still. It’s starting to feel like “healing pain” I guess lol. Probably will need to take it easy for a bit.

I don't recall exactly what I had Tuesday. Probably 4-5". Thursday morning woke up to 2-3". Yesterday I shoveled a solid 7-8" and woke up to another 4-5" this morning, which drifted up to 12" or so in some areas. I broke the shovel about halfway through shoveling this morning.

I'm not positively certain, I think in the central part of the state we got about 5", but the rest of the Wisconsin crew in the southern/southeastern part of the state got dumped on. The further north, the lesser amount of snow. A guy sent me a picture of Superior, Wi. and they weren't even getting snow at the time of the picture.

That sucks about the shovel. But on the other hand it proves "you've still got it!" About getting over to Jefferson Co., it might take a while for me to get there, I run a Cat loader during the plowing. It only goes 24 MPH.

That shoveling is highly overated, I know, it's good exercise! Now after trying to move the garbage bin, your knee is torn up. It's weather related! Rest that knee so you can get 'back in the game', next snow storm. Get well soon.

    I can wait. :D

I was a little surprised, because it wasn't a cheapie shovel. But, I guess I was trying to push too much weight.

I have to take breaks. I asked my 26YO son to do the front so that I don't have to do it all, and he's acting like it's so hard.

Up Nort der hey in Chetek we saw maybe 3” or so. Not feeling too bad about leaving G’town this past fall where 16-17” of wet heavy fluffers were enjoyed.

Awesome! The remodel part is above my paygrade, I've heard it can be rewarding though, but you being around Chetek, we have a better chance of seeing you than the rest of the crew. Maybe once upon a time, as for now, I have to prep for an ice fishing trip.
