What brand audio speakers does Toyota use in there basic 8 speaker setup on a 4 runner sr 5 premium

    True, but it's also true that if your tastes or ears don't require hi fidelity sound then life is simpler and way cheaper! I envy those that don't know the difference or do know the difference and don't care......I am not that person sadly.

    You may consider deleting them as I did....the term soundstage comes from a live music environment in which the sound is projected at you from the stage. Never in those environments is the sound projected at your back. Those speakers don't make for a proper soundstage but can be useful for a tailgating (camping) situation. I wanted a proper soundstage so I replaced all the speakers and when I went in the tailgate to Dynamat the inside, I removed the JBL co-axials and threw them away. Now I don't tailgate but I suppose if I did, I would have installed some speakers in there and just had them defeated or faded out for proper music listening while in the driver's seat.

    2017 SR5P with some stuff
    This is for non-JBL. I THINK that the JBL systems are 2 ohm all around, but I’m not 100% sure.
    I’ve reached the limit of what I can do with the stock head unit. Instead of investing in another DSP, I believe that money will be better spent on a good aftermarket head unit with CarPlay
