Almost a new Toyota 4Runner owner

Hello everyone,


My name is Alex and I'm very excited that I will be picking up my new-to-me Toyota 4runner in a few days. This will be my very first Toyota, I come from an extensive vehicular history of Jeeps and GMs but looking forward to something a little more reliable.

Picking up a 2021 Toyota 4Runner Trd-offroad (Venture edition). From my understanding, the Venture is basically a TRD-offroad with black badging, different running boards and a rooftop basket. Please correct me if I'm mistaken.

Can't wait to see this 4Runner in person in a few days, I'll be sure to post up some photos then.

You are pretty much spot on in regards to the additions. You also get black mirrors and black roof rails i belive.

Welcome! Congrats on the new ride. I really like the venture package, comes with some nice accessories. If I recall correctly, the wheels are black too, correct?

 

My sales rep sent me a photo of the vehicle prior to taking it in for inspection and detail. Looking forward to seeing it in person.
I've only driven a TRD sport so far. Only two more days to wait until I get to drive it and sign the paperwork.

 

Nice looking rig!! I bet the next few days are going to go by soooooo slooooowwwww lol.

 

Saying that I'm very excited is an understatement. Pretty sure I've watched every YouTube video out there that's got a 4runner in it.

 

LOL I did the same thing. This is my 1st 4R, I got mine Oct 12th... I've always wanted one, and my SUV is starting to get up there in miles and a little rusty so I figured it was time before they discontinued this body style. Not regretting it one bit!! The mods for it are endless...

 

You have no idea! My '24 TRD Off-Road left port on Dec. 10th so I'm probably about 6 weeks away from getting mine. That's going to feel like an eternity! I've always wanted one and finally decided to pull the trigger before they mess it up in '25. For now all I have is this forum and YouTube video's to get my fix!

 

If hear you regarding the new upcoming platform for the 4runner. It seems like they really got this current one right, simple and does everything you need it to do. No gimmicks, something that you can rely on and have some fun as well.
And at the way things are going, it's only going to get more expensive to jump into a Toyota.

Finally picked up our 4runner! She's got a couple swirls in the clearcoat and one door seal that needs replacing but otherwise... I am very excited!
Not the best photos, but haven't had a chance to get out anywhere yet.
