What is your set-up opinion ...

I'm thinking of going from stock to a 3" Sky Jacker lift with struts and shocks. Moto Metal 20X9 wheels and Falkin A/T3 tires. What's your feeling about 20" wheels on a 2004 4th gen? Anyone else done this? This set-up is recommended to me and I'm close to pulling the trigger.

Any specific purpose for your 4Runner? Or just sprucing up the stock look to something better? Probably wouldn’t want 20’s on a rock crawler is what I’m getting at. Surprisingly I thought I wouldn’t like the 20’s but that second picture looks pretty good!

 

I'm really just doing it for beach driving. I live on the beach in SE NC. Also, looks of course. The second pic is not my vehicle, just a photo i pulled off the web, but the look I'm going for. Do those wheels look like 20's?

They don't look like 20's to me but it's hard to tell from the photo if they are (are they?) They seem like 18's just from looking at it.

 

If those are indeed 20's in the picture they look waaaay better than I thought they would on a 4runner. If you air down at the beach just keep in mind that having a smaller side wall will reduce your footprint.
