PPF is the way to go, ceramic coating won’t prevent/protect from any scratches.

Paint correction + PPF in high wear areas is what you're looking for. Ceramic coat is more for keeping it clean/making washing easier.

Both the posts above are correct. Paint correction and paint protection film. Ceramic will do nothing for scratch repair or prevention.

Ceramic coating is so old school. lol

If you are looking for protection go with Graphene wax/spray, i switched a year ago and haven't gotten any pinstripes since, plus it lasts for so darn long, water always beads up even months later.

Specifically: Turtle Wax 53477 Hybrid Solutions Pro Flex Wax, Graphene Spray Wax. They make a soap and wax as well but i prefer the spray

Yes, its fairly easy. Similar to a spray touch up with a little extra care. Much easer than wax or Ceramic, and when fresh it super slick. Graphene wax/spray is by far the most resilient i have ever used. Even when my 4R is dirty, when it rains its still beads up. I would definitely give it a try.

I’m convinced the ceramic “spray and dry” product I use protects mine from pinstripes. However, I deny the existence of all the new stripes I get after every trip. They were probably there before I applied the product anyways.
