Mine had 60K miles, a 2013, so the hoses were much older and didn't like being bent after all the miles.

I have BudBuilt Skids and sliders on ours, I was Really happy with their quality and design. They were awesome to deal with too. I am glad you had the same experience. Looks good!!!

Question on these. How are these mounts held on the frame? Do they wrap around the crash bumper so that it basically pulls on the bumper in a recovery?

The mounting plate pulls directly to the frame, mounted to the two front frame posts, between the frame and the front bumper extensions. There are also two brackets that wrap underthe bumper. Screen Shot 2022-09-13 at 10.32.44 AM.jpg

Sorry to bring this back from the dead.

I'm looking to do this setup on my OG Trail, just wondering if you have enough room to reach the winch clutch through the lower grille opening.

I doubt it, but if you take a picture and use a red circle to indicate where you're wanting to go I'm happy to give you as many of my uninformed opinions as you'd like.

From the front and top pictures.

I suppose if you cut out the plastic you could.

Wanted to drop by and thank @Well69 again for the original post...I was beating my head against a wall trying to find a bumper/winch that would be low key and classy on my ‘19 limited/nightshade “Pearl”...this led me to one of my better buying experiences ...Bud seems like a good guy...patient with all my newbie questions and just seemed to get it...shipped super fast and my wrens (Steve from Overland Truck store garage) was impressed with the fit and finish...coupled it with the Ironman 9500# and all has been great for almost a year...4-5 winter trips through Idaho, Montana and Wyoming where I used it to help 3 oppps drivers, pulled down trees out of the way and lots of other jobs that I’d never thought about before...very happy and thankfull I found this thread...thanks again...6959B0DA-7BC0-48AC-8C07-BBD536EE91AA.jpg

Thanks. I actually got information from somebody with the same model as me, they have plenty of room to reach the winch controls right through the grill.
