Sasquatch uses extended bump stops, so you lose suspension travel.

Perhaps it's a torque capacity issue. The manual may not be rated for the torque output of the V6. The 2.3 still makes more HP & Torque than the 4.0.

In non- sports cars, the take rate on the manual is generally pretty low. Same way on Jeeps.

I can't get over the botched headlights and cheap looking fender flares. I don't know what the design team was thinking.

In 30 years, nobody is going to give a shit about it. They'll still be restoring older ones, though.

That 2.3 makes way more power than our 4.0, so who cares? It's not a race car. :notsure:

Yeah that's what I read, but still nothing some good old engineering can't fix. Maybe the take rate would've been better since it's mostly enthusiasts going for the Sasquatch and such.

The 2.3 is nice ngl. I had it in a rental Explorer before and that thing rips, and that 8-speed ooooof loved it. I wonder how long term reliability is tho, although it's been out long enough in the Mustang and most say it's good, there were a couple recalls early on but has been decent since then.

imo it looks ok, but the Bronco Raptor flares those are just fugly. They make it look super cheap.

100% agree on the raptor fenders!

I actually think the non-Squatch Badlands is the cleanest looking Bronco. That's the one with the steelies.

4Runner can be modified to have all that. For $70k that Ford wants, I can turn my 4Runner into a beast that will have that Bronco for snack. On the other hand, 4Runner and Bronco cannot be modified to become a Wrangler.

Well, except for the ones that came before it!

But you can’t buy anything that small in the US anymore, except for a few road cars.

Those of you who are interested in buying a new jeep, get the latest JL, things are going to go down the toilet under Stalantis. The JL, with the 3.6 and 8 speed is like the 5th gen 4Runner of Jeep.

The anime catfish look of the 5th gen has just gotten old, I'm sick of seeing it. 10 years and not even a fresh bumper redesign FFS.

They still look good from the side, I was walking out toward mine parked by itself in the parking lot the other day, the sun was hitting it just right and I thought damn that's a good looking vehicle.

I just think the Bronco looks cool, I like the front end and the squared off shape. I just wish they offered it in a steel roof version.

You're right about that! It's about time.

I happen to think catfish are awesome, though. So, maybe that's why I still like it.

It's really just a few things that I don't really like. I think they screwed up the grill with the yellow dashes cutting into the headlights. And, I just really think the fender flares look cheap. They don't hold up to the old ones, for me.

What's Bronco's selling point? Bronco, why not Jeep? I test drove a Bronco. Build quality is crap, cheap crappy plastic all over. If you are into buying crap, then why not Jeep?
