Today I dropped off my 2015 Limited for a 2/1 cornfed spacer install. The shop called and said that they would have to disconnect the XREAS system to install them, and then re pressurize the lines which would have to be done by Toyota? It’s a reputable shop, but I’ve constantly read that they are easy to install and “Xreas compatible”. Can anyone provide insight?

    Suggestion:
Call Cornfed Suspension LLC in Branson and ask them. They are excellent and will take your call.

Best bet: If you're anywhere near Branson, you can have it done at Cornfed. Here's their contact info.

I had the Cornfed 2/1 installed on my '21 Limited in March and it is not required to disconnect and re-pressurize the X-REAS system in order to install that lift.
As you mention it's a good shop, so they can work with the people at Cornfed Suspension if they have questions about installation.

My shop charged about 1 hour to do the install. and out the door it was around $300 to $350 including the kit.

The product description for the X-REAS 2/1 kit says:
"With our easy step by step install instructions this kit is approximately a 2 hr install even in the driveway with hand tools, a floor jack and jackstands."

I hope they haven't started disassembling anything...time for a new shop.

No experience with this kit but I have the feeling the shop is correct. That middle part is a spring preload spacer right? Wouldn't that require coil over to be out? Again not sure about this kit. That top hat spacer does not require coil over to be out though.

I talked to cornfed and was provided a link for install without removing the struts or disrupting the Xreas system.

Can you provide that link for anyone else who stumbles across this thread looking for the same answer?

After reading for a while regarding the XREAS I was under the impression that these can not be re-pressurized. So once they disassemble you pressure line you would need all 4 new pressurized shocks.

Are they rebuildable / refilled? Is it a Toyota only repair? Any idea about the cost?

From my understanding no possible, need to the full system replaced in one go. Someone was saying between 3.5K to 4.5K.

My bad, I just read your post again. You did say "you would need all 4 new pressurized shocks". I think I need more sleep. I should not open this forum after late night get-togethers. :drunk:
