In for later since I'm hoping to get the foot-well light harness and the AMD harness sometime down the road.

i like seeing both the temperature and range to empty without having to change my display menu in the instrument cluster.

This is for your 2021 4Runner? Unless something changed, I think this mod only works up to 2019 models @Old Red

Seems Toyota might have changed the price. The dealership I bought mine from has it now for $35 more than when I bought it, even with the same discount.

I thought the same thing but he actually did get it figured out for 20+ so that's good news for them

Well after months of searching junk yards the stars aligned, and I was able to snag the blue F stamped display for $125.

It's kinda like a fun treasure hunt! Amazed you found a 2014 display in the wild.

Well, thank you @Old Red The harness was made very professionally.
    Better than OEM even.
The install was easy with the guide you sent over.
I was on the verge of paying dealer price for the display but I got lucky. With that being said. The $380-400 for a new unit is still worth it if you guys want to have the extra functionality instead of a clock.

Thanks again @Old Red for making the AMD harness.

Installation wasn't too bad but I can't get into the deviation calibration mode on the AMD, even after trying multiple times. It's displaying the correction direction but shows the dot between the temperature and direction, which means it needs to have the circling calibration done.

What steps are you doing to enter the calibration mode. If I remember correctly it’s slightly different if headlights are on or off so keep an eye on that as well

Yeah, I re-read the process and it just dawned on me that the vehicle needs to be running (doh!), not in accessory mode. Once I got off of work, I went through the steps again and was able to do the deviation and circling calibration on my 4Runner with the AMD. I'm a happy camper now, lol.

Why doesn’t Toyota still offer this on the 4Runner?! This would be so much better than the clock I don’t need right there. I would love to have the DTE visible since I can’t have that and the digital speedometer at the same time.

This works on the 20+ models right? Is Old Red still making the harness?

Everything is displayed in the cluster now but yeah just the clock there looks like you didn't get some options.

I have a ‘23 ORP with the MTM and I don’t think it was an option from Toyota.

That display went away in like 2015 in all Runner models.

2014 was the last year and a single year for the blue displays (matching the interior lighting motif that came along with the facelift). 2010 through 2013 had orange displays.

I thought these were long gone from the other forum. I despise the clock knowing there was so much more previously. Subscribed for the next batch.

It’s normal. The blinking indicates the seconds
