Yeah looks much better with black trim. Too bad you need more green backs to get all that

If people would look around more there are plenty of dealerships selling these things at MSRP. $57k for mine. I didn’t manage to get the invoice on mine. $53,250. I am still trying to convince the dealership to let me use my VSPP code. lol.

Autoevolution is a garbage site that creates click bait articles with no backup or factual evidence. It’s all made up BS so don’t believe it and I’d suggest just ignoring it when google’s lazy algorithm puts it into your feed as an automotive “news” story.

Yeah I called probably 20 dealers in the last couple months looking for a Pro. Found 4 I think selling at MSRP. So that’s who I put a deposit with. Some sounded half offended when I told them their dealer markup was bullshit. Won’t be spending my money there for sure. Even at MSRP I feel like I’m getting ripped off a bit compared to years past and other vehicle purchases. But sure haven’t found a way around it if you want a Pro.

Agree completely. Paying msrp pains me but I dang sure wasn’t paying a dime over.

Here's a new YT video taken on a cloudy day.
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RGQXNZ1XNWw

One of the comments on the first YT video of the underground color: "It’s nice on the pro, but I saw it on the sr5 and it didn’t look good. It actually looked cheap."

Based on this comment, I wonder if some find the underground color clashes with certain tires/wheels.

That looks fantastic! Question, are the black running boards and roof rack standard now across the 4Runner line or is that just ORP? I have put a deposit down on an SR5P with running boards and am wondering if I'll have black boards and rack as well. I'll be blacking out the badges on mine and definitely adding black rims when mine comes in.

Typically the running boards/side steps on the SR5 (at least in my region) are a different style than the ones in this photo, but Toyota does offer a few different options so you'd probably want to ask your dealer if they can clarify which ones you're getting. All 4Runners have the roof rails, but on the SR5 they are silver and not black like on the ORP. They do not come with cross bars, unless added at the port or dealership.

Turns out I got a great deal. I had posted a number in the other thread but the dealer made a mistake on my finance contract so another sales contract had to be drafted.

    OTD was approx $52k.

Might look better in a TRD trim. I was excited about this colour but it does not hit like I thought it would.

MSRP on the sticker was 51,200

    After dealer markdown 48,700.

Sales tax alone was a bit over $3500 in the great state of CA. Add in license and the other non-optional fees and it's right at $52 and some change.

My wife had a sonic gray pearl civic before this and that color really popped. Lots of compliments.

The gray in the underground is muted in low light. It really only comes out in the sun. However, when the sun is out it gives it more of an off-road appeal with the flat gray.

Silver badging looks great imo, blacked out has become the new status quo and I'm not jumping on that bandwagon.

I'll be installing rims/tires in the near future, trying to decide between the method 316's or OEM TRD rims. I'm sure that will spice it up a bit

The Underground looks better than expected! My wife and I jumped on a 2023 Limited in MGM 3 weeks ago because we didn’t want to miss out on the color in 2024. Now that I’m seeing the Underground, I’m wondering if it was the right move. We saved $3,500 off MSRP, so that makes my regret a little less lol. I am surprised Limiteds can pull off Underground as well as they can with the Chrome. Love our MGM nonetheless.

I don't feel the Underground holds a candle to the MGM, so congratulations. You got a great deal AND the best color. :D

No regrets, that's a great looking 4runner. At the end of the day we're all driving the same ride just different flavors. The MGM looks great as do all the other colors... except white lol.
