Did you get YouTube on your factory radio?

 

I watch MP4s on the stock system when parked. Had one similar to this with a snowstorm while camping.

How does one do that? Grateful for your help.

Works anytime for me, I've had football, basketball and movies on while driving.

 

Glad it works well. I had thought there was a restriction on YouTube while the car is not in park. This working for everyone? Usually you have to use a jailbroken phone or a third party app or an intermediate dongle. Are you using one of those?

 

How do you get the YouTube app to show in CarPlay? It’s not in my list of available apps when I look to customize CarPlay in the phone settings.

 

It doesn’t without third party apps which aren’t verified in the Apple play store or a jailbroken phone.
