newish, 2015 SR5 4runner owner

hello,

I have had my 2015 SR5 4runner for a year now. it was a grudge buy as it was replacing my previous much loved parked and totalled vw touareg tdi (very, very short) build.

I have taken this 4runner out solo a handful of times, each time, hours away from any cell reception. I had this 4runner stuck in the mud 7 hours from home on the 3rd day of ownership and I loved every minute of it.

I have had my fair share of parking lot ninja repairs while travelling over the years and with this 4runner I never really worry about it...it just runs and runs...

My 4runner also does double duty as a daily work truck. with the back seat removed and a used pickup truck bed-slider installed I can't complain. it haul my tools as needed. the bed-slider also makes a great tailgate camping porch while partially pulled out in the rain to sit on under the popped rear hatch.

I beat the shit out of mine (2018). Almost 100k on it. Daily/work it, and beat the shit out of it on the days off i have. Bent tie rods twice, also been stuck, sleep in it, hell, I live in it. Ive loaded it down hard, and drove long trips to moab and everywhre, and it gets me back. Never once, when i got in, have i wondered, "hmmm, please start". The one thing I am NOT worried about, when i go do dumb shit (including my commute), or wanna roll 3 states in any direction, is my rig. Ever.
