    Hello!

I have had 3 EVAP codes that I have been chasing for about a year, they are : P0440, P0441, and P0446. I have read many threads and posts about EVAP codes and I have just about checked all the boxes with no luck on them going away.

I started with the gas cap then followed with
    - Smoke test: passed
    - New Charcoal Canister
    - New PCV
    - New Overfill check valve
    - New Purge Valve
    - All fuses are good
    - Every hose has been inspected and all seem to be intact
    - Filler neck is good

I am at a loss for my next step now. I called local shops and almost all of them told me there isn’t much else to replace on the EVAP system. I’m starting to think this could be an electrical issue but I don’t know where to start if it is. If anyone has any advice on what could be going on or what I can do next please let me know.

Check the O ring on the fuel pump and the o ring on the charcoal canister.
Were these changed when you installed the new parts?

Did you use only TOYOTA parts? Any valves\sensors that are not OEM are suspect. Use only a TOYOTA Charcoal Canister which will come with all valves and hoses.

The OEM canister does not come with any hoses or valves. Everything has to be bought separately.

For 2001-2002 it most definitely does.

Maybe the older one that goes under the hood instead of under the spare tire, doesn't. OP has a 2001.

My 2011 did not come with anything. I installed it last month.

EDIT: Oh, you have a 2011? That doesn't count. We're dealing with 3rd gen parts.

No, you are talking about the wrong decade of 4Runner.
