2021 4Runner TRD Pro Replica Wheels

Dealer in Nashville had gray off road wheels for $1000 out the door. That was best price I found but for something to scratch to expensive. Those look good. Don't see many gold except anniversary models. I bought some Tundra wheels I liked but I have learned the important lesson of wheel offset and won't work.

 

This is a great tool for tires, offset and everything. You can type in your sizes and compare tires or multiple offsets of wheels and where the tire and wheel will be sitting.

 

Are the TRD Pro off road wheels 17x8? I thought I saw 8 inch shopping and is there an 18?

 

Sure did… went to Discount tire, they’re Voxx wheels. Style or model is PRO… they do however require aftermarket cone lugs. But so far, I dig them, loved the style, but didn’t want a 7” wheel

 

Yeah I can't afford wheels yet but I can't afford tires yet either. I wanted an 8" to broaden tire choices more. I don't have to have TRD wheels bit I just like the engineering and it's made for Toyota. That said I didn't want a white 4runner with black wheels either I don't think. I like different. I thought grays would highlight the little bit of chrome, but I don't want 7" or 7.5" really. I wish these Tundra wheels when had worked. I looked at Rock Trix on Amazon. $170 up for pretty good looking wheels. As long offset works. You said conical lug nuts, but wheel does mount on hub register snug? I saw adapter rings for hub on Amazon. I think Tacoma and 4runner have 106mm hub and Tundra 110mm but there's an adapter to eliminate wobble. I would like 18s to get back to the 20s handling more. I bought spacers to move outbound more.

 

Amazon has TRD replacement in black for $179 but I think it's 7". I might try that if I can find an 8". I had found some ORP grays without the paint between spokes but I couldn't get there in time. I thought it was worth $150 just to scratch but I had not seen any like these.

To anyone who has bought tires from this Vendor - did anybody get them on "sale"?

By that I mean, Black Friday/Cyber Monday is right around the corner. Wondering if I should wait to see if theres a super good deal to be had on them ... Or is this Vendor not likely to do something like that?

 

There's a sale on Discount tire website and Simple Tire had best prices I saw. I am waiting until after Thanksgiving or Christmas. I hope for better sale. I used the tyre-size-calculator site to tire shop is where I looked.

Exactly! It's barely 2 tenners cheaper than an OEM 2023 TRD pro rim.
I do not see the savings but do see the inferior quality .

Voxx makes quality wheels, and I really didn’t care for 7” wheel. So I am not concerned. If I wanted a real wheeler wheel, I’d chosen Methods or Black Rhinos.
