If you’re talking about the new 250 prado j series they’re coming out with it’s not a real Land Cruiser it’s a prado and that 2.4 will be guaranteed shit garbage I don’t care if it’s made by Toyota or not use common sense you’re forcing over 400 lb pounds of torque and almost 400 hp out of a 4 cylinder and think it will last forever? You’ll be lucky to get 200k trouble free miles. The current Tacoma 2.7 2trfe is one of the most reliable engines in the world but only have a 158 hp the 22re has about 100

Yeah, I don't agree that it will be "superior" offroad considering its reduced ground clearance. The only mutilations will be to the skid plates, if it comes with any.

Where did you get the idea they're squeezing that much power out of the 2.4? Or, are you referring to the combined power of the hybrid setup?

 

Luckily no current Toyotas have any electronic actuators to worry about. Well, except for the ones in the differentials and most of the transfer cases.

 

So, now we're comparing a vehicle that hasn't even hit the market to a vehicle we barely even know anything about yet.

I agree, the specs on the 250 don't look all that great. I feel like Toyota must be hiding something. Or, maybe the next 4Runner is going to be the main off-roading platform.

It is not about water. Ozone lets blue light in. Sky would be blue even if there were no oceans.

Maybe my answer was a bit oversimplified. But, it's definitely not because of the ozone layer.

 

I'm loving that ride and definitely want one, but holding off until 6th gen. They look so clean and capable though.

 

So why is the sky not blue when you go above the Ozone layer/Atmosphere? It is the atmosphere/ozone that turns the ocean blue, and not the other way around.
