I find the kick out very handy for accessing the roof. Plus it looks cool, haha.

Downside is I suppose there's an off chance of my dog hooking a leg in them when jumping in/out of the backseat.

Sliders and skids are the type of things that even if you only use them once, they've paid for themselves.

Plus the peace of mind is priceless. I was offroad a few weeks ago, I'm at stock lowrider height, and every (frequent) hit on the RCI skids was like "eh, whatever".

That was honestly my thought when the kickout hit the tree. Well it just paid for itself right there could have been some costly damage.

Yes, they will help prevent the dings especially on the kickout. Remember this is for 0 degree.

They do for vehicles with doors at slider level. Higher vehicles, such as trucks and other SUVs are able to still give you a door ding.

I’m very happy that I went with Westcott Designs. Opted for powder coated, 0 degree, no kick out, DOM, with top plates. Suggest taking a look at Westcott Designs.

IMG_4628.jpg I decided to back out with both sets since I don’t feel I need them cause I don’t do off roading like a lot of owners do or rock crawling. These work great for the wife and me and had a set before and hold up very well and no rust or chips in them. Plus my favorite part to prevent door dings.

Do your RSGs prevent door dings in parking lots?

Probably the same as Wescott will for cars not trucks. I park a Camry in garage next to it and have to be careful or the door will connect with sliders opening. Not sure if pic shows but sliders stop door from connecting with 4r door the car door hits slider.

I recommend buying local so you dont have to pay for shipping! Make sure the length of the rock sliders is what you want. Some rock sliders are shorter than others :mudding:
