I noticed this the other day. Seriously considered ordering a 2024 ORP in Solar Octane. Had a 2016 Tacoma in Inferno and miss the orange.

I was going to get a terra pro it’s on a ship from Japan as we speak but found a lunar rock with the exact specs I wanted. The msrp on the 2024 is 1500 higher than my 23 with the same specs

One-at-this-price stripper. Bought new 34 yrs ago, a $13K leftover. Added Detroit TruTrac, 1”rear spring spacer and “pinstripes”… Factory AC kit and roof rack bought at dealer cost at time of purchase, still blows ice cold 32yrs later. 2022 AG ORP all stock.
    Massive amount of accessories now.

    It's actually not that bad.
I don't hate it but I probably wouldn't buy one.
Kind of reminds me of the Root Beer Barrel candy when I was a kid.

Bought my SR5P in the summer of 2019.

The 2024 SR5P MSRP is $10,000 more than I paid.

that’s what I have been saying, the new upcoming Land Cruiser prado (not a real Land Cruiser) was supposed to be the 6th gen 4Runner but the cocksuckers at Toyota got greedy and decided to slap on the lc name for a money grab and now they screwed themselves they only have a few years to make a 6th gen out of their ass all 3 models (taco 4Runner and lc will have the same engine and tnga platform) don’t know where they’re going to price the 4Runner if the lc starts in mid 50s I guarantee you 4Runners will not be in the 40s if the current trd msrp is already low 50s

    Calm down bro.

2024 TRD Offroad trim is in the mid 40s. Not in the low 50s.

Look at the price of the new tundra pro compared to the 21 Pro. That new 4runner Pro redesign will be $70K.

No you’re wrong a base model trd off road that no one wants. Everyone wants a premium and those start at 48 add kdss and moonroof and you’re at 50k for 24 they already jacked that up what do you think they’ll do in 25 assuming the 6th gen comes out lower the prices?

I mean, you can honestly say that about pretty much everything right now can’t you? Hell, fast food is almost $20 a person at some places now. Prices for just about anything are absurd these days.

I got my '23 ORP for the price of an OR trim I guess. The softex seats are very nice and since I live in a northern state the heated seats and mirrors will come in handy in the winter.

It's insane what they are charging for a late '00s design, but I still like the old school SUV that this thing is.

I bet they purposely increase the price delta to the Pro on these new ones to follow what everyone else is doing with their top trim truck pricing. Add some “performance” tag to anything nowadays and its a license to charge stupid money.

I bet the new Pros will be in the mid $60K range. Aren’t Tundra/Sequoia Pros like $70K fully loaded? Even Ford and Ram will ask $80K for non-special but option loaded trucks with a straight face. Nuts.

It’s alot….but to be fair, there are $50K RAV4s nowadays lol. Plus, whether buying an SR5 to mod to the moon or an off the shelf Pro, what competes with this reliable, body on frame, old school, off road platform nowadays for under $55K?

Rubicons are in the same price range with an equally lethargic 6 cylinder, except they are as reliable as my high school girlfriend. All this is unsustainable…..I don’t see how the average person can come close to affording any of these trucks.

Did Underground replace Magnetic Grey Metallic? Is it just a darker version of MGM?

Yes MGM is gone. Underground is glossy with no metallic flakes. It changes in the light / shade, looks darker in the shade, but lighter than MGM in the sun.
