OK Fess up! Whose 4Runner is this??

Found in a FB group Im in.... I was like, given the rare color/Trim Level (TRD Pro), I KNOW the owner has to be on this forum. lol. Fess up - who is it??

 

Surprised they have yet to be internet famous at this point.

Saw this one in a Vanity plate FB group.

 

Once upon a time I would have found it hard to reconcile the notion of having enough money to get that vehicle with the level of wisdom associated with having some of those stickers.

Then the Ford Raptor came out, and suddenly the ability to afford an expensive vehicle while having no common sense because extremely observable.

I don't run any cheesy, joke stickers; mostly just decals from manufacturers and shops I've invested in. But now is the time to tell me how much you hate all of them, and how you would never do that! Lol
Like my father in law famously says, "the stickers are kinda gay, but it's a nice truck".

 

Personally not a sticker person unless they are paying me or it came that way and I’m too lazy to remove.

That being said, you’re not hurting or provoking anyone so rock on.

Had a coworker who used to be a DA. He used bumper stickers as a litmus test for who he wanted on a jury. If someone had bumper stickers, he had to decide whether they were already inclined to convict or not because bumper sticker people were usually not people open to other points of view.

Your father in law is probably in the closet with a comment like that. It's your vehicle, so if you want to advertise for another company for free, that's your choice.

 

I live in Southern California, the wrong sticker and the SJWs will take it upon themselves to judge and jury you by taking it out on your possessions.

Stickers make your truck easier to pick out in a line up. Lol

I do enjoy the sticker bomb look, or some good old 80/90s decals. But I prefer MY vehicles with very few decals or emblems.

 

Your totally right. And I can definitely understand that.
I think about that sometimes, same with tattoos I've gotten; I better not commit any crimes LOL

My wife and I's second vehicle that's coming will have prolly zero decals. As this 4R is paid off and God willing destined to be a sticker bombed bush truck for my boys.

 

I hate plastic, so I make use of the inner fenders and the frame.

 

I'm in the no sticker club. Even no badges when appropriate. The tuner racers and jeepsters are into that, but cool whatever do what you want to you ride. You do you.

 

This. I enforce this rule when I buy vehicles. I tell dealerships "Before I drive this off the lot, remove all your dealership logos, stickers and license plate bracket."

All the salesmen that I've dealt with get it. They say "Yeah, I'm not going to advertise for someone unless they're paying me! I don't blame you. We'll get that removed right away!"

I have three 4Runners.com decals on route from Bob actually hahaha
He agreed to send them months ago, but then one day I realized hey, I never received those.

So don't worry guys, I'll be giving even more free advertising any day now !

 

@bassist Here are both of my rigs, stripped of plastic. If I could take the cladding off the 4th gen without a lot of hassle I would, but for now I have to leave it. Plastic is hideous imo. I've removed all Shrockworks decals for obvious reasons.
I have a worn out 4Runners decal from the PO, but I have elected not to get any new ones for personal reasons.
Great forum and formating with even greater members on here, just not a fan of certain policies that I WILL NOT support.
