What brand oil does everybody recommend for a 2022 4 Runner, 24,000 Miles?

 

Search is your friend. There are dozens of threads on this.
Any off the shelf oil in 0W20, change every 5000. Mobil 1 is what I use.

 

@2016Pro is the self appointed expert on this subject.
He says any old brand and 10 to 20 thousand mile oil changes are fine.

Mobil 1 or the genuine Toyota OW/20 Matt’s talking about above. Same oil. Matt’s source for the Toyota oil is the best I’ve seen in quite a while.

Any off the shelf brand that tickles you the right way as long as it’s the correct viscosity.

 

10k with any brand of synthetic is just fine, my motor will go 500k

Mobil 1 has never failed me and I remember it from 1973 gas crisis. 194k no leaks, drips or usage changing every 10k.

 

Buy one of each, and smell them and look at their color. Pretty sure they’re not the same if they smell and look different.
