My rear glass broke earlier in the year and I was looking for a replacement but they are hard to find and expensive. I ended up taking the chance and ordered the glass from a 2nd gen 4runner (which you can just find on eBay for around $200). I can confirm that it pretty much fits! The corners of the new glass are slightly more rounded than the old one so there is a slight gap there but I imagine that it won't matter a ton because of the overhang from the canopy and you could probably fill that gap if necessary but putting something behind the rubber seal. It also may be like 2mm narrower which makes it kinda loose in the track when it is rolled down but I guess you could probably also slightly modify the track to make it narrower to fit better. I wish I could have found more information on this before buying the glass but it ended up being a good idea which is why I am making this post. Here are some pictures for proof...

I forgot to note that I used the metal rail piece from the old glass and stuck the new glass into it; if you don't have the rail you would have to figure something else out to make that work because the glass that I got didn't have the metal rail on it and I think the second generation one is different (but I can't confirm that).

The 2nd gen rear glass outer seal will also work on a first gen.

Do you mean the seal that goes in the canopy that the window slides up into? That probably isn't too hard to find and would probably fix those corner gaps if it will work.

No, the lower glass seal on the rear door/tailgate.

I went to a junkyard that had a second gen; the upper seal (the part that would go in the canopy that the window pushes up into on the first gen) did not look like it was going to work because of the bottom side parts, though I am guessing you could probably find a way to make it work if you wanted.
