    Added tint

    80% on wind shield
18% on front driver and passenger side windows.
35% added to all other windows, with the factory tint, it’s at about 10%

I’ve had my ‘23 MGM since last November and love it. Have a 1” Cornfed leveling kit and 265/70/17 Cooper Rugged Treks and love the subtle stance it has now

I might have to eff around and buy at least a front valance. I'm digging the contrast against MGM

I know most people black out the silver badges/valances on this trim but the silver definitely compliments the magnetic grey IMO

That is one of the reasons I chose MGM. The contrast with silver or black both work well. Toyota seemed to have picked just the right shade of grey in this case.

I don't know, where on it when I got it. Not sure yet if I'll leave them on. They would be an issue off road in my opinion.

They are the Toyota OEM Off-Road running boards. I had them on my 4Runner.

Here’s the good news: if they take a hit, where the brackets attach to the boards themselves will be the first point of failure. If you want to see an example, go look at my build thread. They did a good job of surviving up until I found myself going from being “the little Toyota that could” to “the little Toyota that probably shouldn’t have”.

My advice would be to keep them on until you have a set of slider steps in your hand. It’s better for them to take a bit of a beating than to allow your bodywork to make contact. You want something that attaches to the frame.

What I would definitely suggest against is getting any sort of step that attaches to the body where the step does not have its own bolt-on point of attachment to the mounting bracket. That would be a step backwards from what you have, no matter how beefy it looks.

Nice! I had it the other way around but decided to keep the 4runner, and traded my wife's car for a Tacoma, now I got both in MGM and look great next to each other. definitely an underrated color!

They're N-Fab RKR rails, they look very similar to the OEM "sliders". Leveled with more aggressive stock sized tires should be a factory option IMO

Thanks man. I totally agree with that. I tried to negotiate with the dealer to throw some better tires on but no go. I got it for below MSRP so I suppose I can't gripe too much lol. I really hate to say I'm trying to copy your look but honestly it was what I was picturing in my head when I first started looking at 4Runners. Right off the bat I knew I needed three mods: better tires, leveling kit, and to tint those darn front windows. You mind sharing any details on the tint? I'm hoping to get away with just having the shop do the fronts and maybe a windshield stripe.

I got mine last November and mine wasn't much more than MSRP back then, got a really good deal on the trade in so I didn't feel as shafted lmao. After my old Silverado on a 9" lift with 37s I knew I wanted to keep this one as close to stock as possible since it's my daily. These trucks don't need much thankfully to look aggressive. I have 20% tint on the fronts, 20% over the factory rears, with the windshield strip. It's darker in the rear now obviously (probably around 5%) but just 20% on the fronts might be pretty close with the factory stained glass in the back.

My 5th Gen and 4th Gen 4Runners face to face.
Bought the MGM on Oct 31st. Was going to wait until next year when I hand over the ‘06 4Runner to my son who will start driving. But, found out that MGM wasn’t going to be offered on the 2024’s so I ran out and found a SR5 that I can use as a starting base for mods. So far, since I’ve bought it, I’ve done the following: TRD wheels & BFG KO2’s, tinted windows, black chrome exhaust tip, black emblem overlays, replaced all inside bulbs with LED’s, replaced the overhead control/light panel with one that has the Homelink garage door buttons, Weather Tech cargo mat, and today I used the Carista app to do some customized coding.
