Looking to get feedback on what people think of the underground color that have seen it in person. Keep trying to catch one local bug haven’t had success yet. Any thoughts appreciated.

I'm assuming this is the Terra color option?

Huh? It's Underground (gray). The replacement for MGM.

No it’s a sort of dark gray if mgm and cement had a baby

Ah ok. Looks good! Is this available on the upcoming 4Runners? I didn't see it on the website, hence the curiosity if it was the Terra. Thanks!

I could be wrong but I think it replaces MGM across all trims whereas Terra is exclusive to the pro

You're probably correct here. I didn't even know this was a color before my ignorance was corrected haha.

    Oooh look, another mod.....

Thanks, that comment made a scenario of a Tacoma in MGM and a Tacoma in Lunar Rock getting it on. This music was playing, of course:

If it’s anything like mgm it’s will show dirt a lot. And scratches. That’s one reason I did not care for the AG on my Pro.

Yep. I was just curious if anybody has seen it in person on the corollas and Camrys. None available around me. All show in transit.

I can't get into the dolphin skin colors and it seems like the hot thing as I've seen it across multiple car makers recently. On another note I saw an older gen 4runner today with a blueish silver and wished they'd bring a version of that back

So did you get the Underground Pro?

I saw an Underground Pro at the dealer when I picked up my Terra...

Underground looks great when freshly washed, but a little dust and rain and it really shows up on this color

The Underground Pro at my dealer came in the day after mine...

It got HAILED on badly while in transit from Houston to DFW...

I could tell the buyer ordered it, no predator steps and no other port installed junk...

Salesman said they were waiting on the buyer to come look at it, then would send it to PDR...but doubted all the dents would come out perfect

I’ve seen it in person I love it when it’s a lighter shade (under bright light) when it’s cloudy or darker it looks straight up black which I’m not a fan of at all

I loved my army green, but it showed everything. The underground is very similar in that regard but just so uninspiring IMHO haha. Might as well do black at that point. I bought an ice cap, so my opinion probably shouldn't even count.

Underground will show dirt / scratches easier as it is a darker color but its a great color that changes depending on lighting. Accents on the color also really stand out against the darker color which is nice. Get the vehicle ceramic coated and it will make washing a lot easier.

One-at-this-price stripper. Bought new 34 yrs ago, a $13K leftover. Added Detroit TruTrac, 1”rear spring spacer and “pinstripes”… Factory AC kit and roof rack bought at dealer cost at time of purchase, still blows ice cold 32yrs later. 2022 AG ORP all stock.
    I like the Terra better.

I did! Absolutely love it. It definitely shows dirt but I had the whole front covered with ppf and then the whole truck ceramic covered. That has really helped with dirt. Definitely love the color though. I may be the oddball out but I didn’t like the magnetic grey and this is way more my speed.

Congrats. My thoughts on vehicle color is that only one person's opinion matters.....the owner.

I personally can't stand the underground, but
    ^^^That.

I find it really weird that Toyota used the MGM color throughout all of the 4th and 5th gen 4Runners, then did away with it on the last year of the current generation. I suppose they are getting people used to the underground for the 6th gen crowd...

Yeah, you would think keeping MGM for 2024 and then introducing a new gray with the new generation would have made more sense but some bean counter probably showed that they could save 18 cents if they changed the color now.

I am having slight regrets, it behaves like black in showing dirt and swirls.

Nah, all the darker colors would do that. I stopped looking at the dust on my dark blue GX about three weeks after I bought it. It is impossible to keep clean so I stopped trying.
