Hey everybody I’m here for all the info. I’m coming from Tacomaworld which I still have and drive my 3rd generation Tacoma. It’s my first Toyota I’ve fallen in love with it. I’ve always loved 4Runners although they’ve never quite met my needs in a vehicle. However,
im currently in the market for a 5th generation Toyota 4Runner probably 2020+ (likely an SR5 depending on best deal I absolutely love the looks of the TRD models I admit) with low miles most likely something certified by dealer for my daughters graduation gift as she’s signed to play softball in college next year with a 3.8gpa. Want to get her something nice and reliable that she can drive for many years until she’s able to buy her own 4Runner of her choice. She's worked very hard for a scholarship offer. She’s a great kid. I want to get her something nice and super reliable.. I’ve done more mods to my Tacoma than I can even list and I’ve kept up all the maintenance on my own. I have to imagine underneath the Tacoma and 4Runner are very similar. I’ll be on the forum reading up for knowledge. This board has a ton of great looking T4Rs!
Shes currently driving a 2010 Jeep Wrangler JK with 200k miles on it in stock configuration. It’s been an good vehicle but I’d trust her in a 4Runner far more being off on her own

You are in the 5th Gen forum and you mentioned looking for 5th Gen. I have had 2 5th Gen SR5s over the years, plus a 4th Gen SR5. Great vehicles. In my opinion a great choice for your daughter.

Pay it forward Chris, get her a low mile gen 5 SR5 in white and never look back. Welcome to the forum! White was my idea, color really doesn’t matter.

I love the white, navy, octane ones A lot! The SEMA wheels look so good on these vehicles too
