Good morning all and thank you for the ad!

We get our new '23 4Runner TRD ORP tomorrow.

Dealer offering the Toyota Extra Care Platinum VSA (uploaded) for $1,500 claiming the full price is $2,500. This is the 6Y/100K VSA.

Waiting to see the full Agreement for complete details but there is an yet to be specified "deductible" and "Covered components are subject to change."

I've seen other posts here reporting a 10Y/100K VSA...

I'm curious what other people's experience is with the Toyota VSA. Is extending the 3Y/36K to 6Y/60K worth $1,500? We probably drive $12K per year...

    Thank you!

Welcome from the center of the bourbon universe.

I bought a used 2019 OR and got a 7 year warranty for $1400. For me that was worth it. Basically breaks down to $200/year. If one thing goes wrong I'm pretty much in the black after that.

Welcome. If there is one vehicle where an extended warranty may not be needed it would be the 4Runner with it's insane reliability record. With that said, and as others have noted, it's not a lot of money per year and IF something should go wrong it could save you a lot of money......your call.

Has home pricing calmed down there yet?

I have thought seriously about moving there.

It's a slam dunk... A bad radio, a bad radar module, the optical sensors... All are more $$$ than the $1400 10-year/100k coverage courtesy of Jerry at Midwest Toyota...
