My welcome thread - Take two!

Okay, so the Nautical Blue 2'Runna that I had my eye on didn't work out, but I found THIS one and got an even better deal on it.

I present to you: My 2023 Toyota 4Runner 40th Anniversary Special Edition, in Barcelona Red. (They all come in 4whl drive only).

The OEM tires looked like shit, so after I bought it I rushed straight over to Discount Tire and slapped some new Falken Wildpeaks on it.. (Anyone wanna buy some tires with only 11 miles on them?)

What the fuck? The salesman told me they added 1MPG more! I was liiiiiiiied to. I've had it less than 6 hours and gotten two compliments about the look of it and the color. This thing gets noticed.

I love the look of those bronze wheels & bronze badging (it's not blacked out like on other models, or chrome.)

Great looking truck! And mine came with those garbage Duelers too and I got rid of them for KO2's a week later.

Love that color.

 

Truck looks great! I love those wheels with the heritage center caps. it’s too bad the 40th doesn’t come in nautical blue, blue paint with bronze wheels looks amazing.

 

So you're saying that I cannot count on you to buy the Duelers from me? The color kind of shifts colors depending on the light. In direct sun it looks like a "racing" red, and in the shade, it looks more...burnt orange-ish? But both colors still have a pearl-like glow to them.

The best part of the 40th edition, the interior. The center console isn't silver or black, it's some kind of bronze-gun metal color and the material they use hides finger prints VERY well.

 

Same with Nautical Blue, like mine. Looks black in the shade, but in direct sunlight it's a deep metallic blue. It's what sold me on buying my truck.

It looks fantastic, those wheels really are best looking factory wheels on these. Good choice on tires too, crazy what a difference even stock size ATs make.

This is an aftermarket center console cover that I found on Amazon. Yeah, it's quilted.
