There's no need to take the front off. You can do it all by laying under the front bumper and just reaching up. It was super easy.

Subwoofer update: With the keyloc and some polyfil the Skar 8" went from meh to not bad. Switched back to the 12" compVR in an undersized box which was predictably much better. Plot twist, BOTH subs on the same channel in series-parallel (roughly 600w RMS @ 2.6 Ω) got downright impressive and fun!

    PXL_20230929_135223253.jpg

So I pulled one of the 3rd row seats and will stick a shallow 12 (L7T maybe?) in there; plywood box build should net around 1.3 cubic feet with room for a false floor/grille.

It’s all over the place and there is no end in sight. I checked with numerous dealers in my area and they are all over msrp. Luckily my recent 23 SO purchase was not. At least one loyal dealer being a repeat customer able to get one msrp.

Why not take advantage of the space to the in front of the Skar? More work for sure, but would be a good solution to get more airspace without sacrificing much interior space.

This was my 3rd Gen- you would use less space.

You came back to 4Runner? The one was Peruzzi in Hatfield, Pa. Bennett has one on the site saying "In Production" 2023 still in Production, I would've thought they switched to 2024 model yr by now? We ordered my wife's BMW april 2022 they said 4 months max, then it was backed up in mid summer last year because they were switching to 2023. 15 months later she took delivery.

Yes I did come back. Also mine was allocation at Bennett toyota for September they had 2 coming in and sold. But the first one came in and the buyer tried haggling on his trade in and they would not budge so they told him they had a buyer which the ball was in my court and I did not have to take this one. Since there was another one. Me and the wife decided I wanted this one and not to wait for the other one. Both came with same accessories so I figured why not. So I brought it home and been sitting in the garage not being driven till it goes in for the wrap in 2 weeks. Already added a few mods did not post them yet and sold the predator steps and new ones are coming today.

Finished with the Eylar cases to store (1) First Aid kit; (2) my Recovery gear; and (3) Misc. tools (air pump, battery cables, fire extinguisher, etc.)=all mounted in the roof basket with bungees, cargo net, locks, and bike heavy duty bike cables.

Today, I program a couple of sites into the Navigation system using coordinates, instead of addresses. Install my gun case with bike cable ad padlocks for when I go through Cali (I have CCW permits for all the other states we'll go through on our vacations).

They call a track pack wrap which they do the most. The whole front nose of the vehicle and side mirrors and pillars and so much up the bottom of the doors and quarter panels. When I bring it in if there is any other area I would like it can be done. Nice thing since the 4runner mudflap run your paint off over time they will remove them and then they will be put over the wrap area. Also paint correction where needed and ceramic coat. Warranty for 10 years and he wants you to come back every year and make sure it’s still good and no issues.
I had my 19 C7 Z06 fully wrapped when I bought it and love it. It’s black so no scratches or swirls marks.
Predator steps sit to low. That’s why I don’t like them. I don’t off road so going what I had on my 17 and 20 4runner Pro’s. Tyger Star steps. Love them and really prevent door dings and the finish is really good no rust or dings. They use like a spray in bed liner finish.

Rotated tires today and finally finished rinsing out the rest of the mud/silt from my recent trip. This was my third time rinsing out my undercarriage and frame rails. The stuff hides in there! Lol

That's really nice work! I'm too lazy to break out the fiberglass and vinyl again.

Thanks. A shop did the build and install. I've never done it myself (although one installer let me help build some dash pod molds once). Ahh the old car audio days.

I like how low that shift knob sits. All the others seem to stick way up, with a lot of the shifter rod showing.

Adding these today and my Cali raised cat protection. Had these before hope the finish holds up like they did before. Heard numerous times rocks hitting them and no chips in the finish or rust. IMG_4573.jpg

I'm just looking now. depending on my Co decision to let me continue to work remotely by Dec. has a lot to do W/it. My 2018 TRD OR has 63,220 mi on it now. I will get serious after Dec & depending if I have to start commuting again. But that's too far for me. Heck I'm flying to KMCI 9-Oct for work that week.

2 little add on I put the carbon shifter to match my console. In person it’s spot on. Just the way the pic is taken looks different. Also added my chalk bag. And Tyger star steps. Never got my Cali raised cat protection on. To many other things going on. IMG_4575.jpg
